Overview

Apartment A-21 was bought by us in May 2005 and has been totally refurbished since then. A telephone line and air conditioning have been installed, almost all original furniture (beds, cupboards, washing machine, microwave) has been replaced and the apartment has the feel of a home rather than a holiday apartment.

The total floor area of the apartment is 62 m² (620 sq feet) including the balcony. This figure also includes corridors and wardrobes and so is greater than the combined size of the individual rooms. Measures have been taken with a Ryobi laser device to ensure accuracy. All distances, areas and drive times mentioned on this site have been checked by us personally.

Floorplan

The apartment is 5 km from the centre of Dénia and within 450 metres from the beach. A mid-sized supermarket ("Más y Más") is close by and a pharmacy is located opposite the entrance to La Fontana. The new Dénia hospital is 5 minutes away by car from the apartment and within 10 minutes’ drive are the AP7 motorway, the N332 and the Portal de la Marina shopping centre (located next to the Dénia exit of the AP7 motorway). This houses an Eroski hypermarket, 130 other stores, restaurants, a bowling alley and a nine screen cinema. There is free parking for some 2,000 cars.

The property is fully air conditioned (installed in 2006) and has a power rating of 4.3 KW, compared to the 7.6 KW units installed for many of the other apartments in the complex. One of the two units sits on the roof and the other is embedded in the space above the bathroom ceiling. The control for the air conditioning system, which also acts as central heating, is on the wall in the lounge.
